Originated in South Africa, Arum Lily is commonly cultivated as a cut flower. In this variety clump forming rhizomes. Perennial plant, evergreen in mild areas, with stem erect, arrow shaped, glossy, bright evergreen leaves, to 40 Cm long.

A perennial Cornflower. The plant requires well-drained soil and can grow in nutritionally poor soil.   It cannot grow in the shade. It can tolerate drought.

Johnson's Blue perennial.  An easy to grow plant in well drained conditions.  Once flowering becomes sparse cut back hard and it will reward you with a second flush.

Common Name - Star of Bethlehem. An easily grown plant, it succeeds in any position in ordinary garden soil. Prefers a sunny position. Succeeds in short grass, though this should not be mown from the time the bulbs start to grow until they have set seed and the leaves are dying down. Plants are hardy to about -10°c.

'Whirligig' - hence the unusual petal formation. Osteospermums, like their close relatives the Dimorphothecas, are quite rightly growing in popularity and this is one of the finest. Although in its native South Africa it is a bushy, evergreen perennial, it flowers freely the first year from seed and in this country it is usually grown as a half-hardy annual bedding plant.

An herbaceous perennial with finely divided leaves.  Plant in free-draining, fertile soil in full sun. Provide support to flopping stems if necessary.
