Shrewsbury Meet 2003

AJ & Lady Foxglove picked Mac up from the station and it was straight off to the gardens at The Dingle, in Shrewsbury's Quarry Park where the flower show is held.



The following day, Mac, AJ & LF met up with Cwm, Trish & Moonlight for lunch. Mac reports that Cwm bought her a beef roll and that therefore, contrary to popular belief, Cwm has NOT sewn up his trouser pockets so he doesn't have to pay for anything ;-) The spectacular fireworks mark the opening of the flower show, which Mac went back to see on the first evening. The picture on the right is of one of the many flower displays at the show, where Mac returned with AJ & LF on the Saturday, this time for AJ to buy all the plants he had earmarked the previous day, after examining nearly every plant at the show!



Relaxing at AJ & LF's later that day. Mac picked up a some lovely seeds collected for her by AJ and AJ wowed her with his vegetarian cuisine. Mac says AJ is trying to pretend his computer is working properly!



On the Sunday morning, Mac took in the sites of Shrewsbury and then spent the afternoon with AJ & LF before heading home in the evening after a wonderful week end.
