The calendar is set up as a public diary for us all.   It would be lovely if people posted in their birthdays, but other information such as shows, quiz nights or general get togethers are just as welcome.

The calendar is interactive for all RG Members, and if you make an entry into this calendar you have the ability to delete the entry also, but because it is a freebie add on to the site you have to register independently from your RG membership in order to use it.  Please read on.

If you wish to make an entry onto the calendar first of all select the day that you want the entry to appear.   If it is not in the current month scroll down the side bar until you see the correct date.  Click on the date.

If you have not already registered to use the calendar you will be asked to register now.  First of all you have to enter the password.  The password is the first word of the two that were given to you when you first became a member.   Now enter your normal user name and a password.   You are now registered to use the calendar whenever you want to.

A screen now appears for you to enter up all the information that you want to.  

The event title is what will appear on the face of the diary.   All the other information only appears when people click onto the event title on the diary face.   You do not have to put your email address in with this message - just clear it if you don't want it to show.   If there is a website that relates to the event you can put the url (address) of this in as well as it will help people who are interested.

The event that you have entered will most probably not appear on your screen until you have 'refreshed' the page.
